Friends, I am a blessed man. The world often debates the person of God. Yet His amazing handiwork is all around us. The first chapter of Romans in the New Testament of the Bible tells us that the works of God’s Hand in creation are evident to all. Seeing the sun rise and take its place and then slip away to allow for nightfall can be witnessed by every man, woman and child, regardless of where they live in our vast world.

I’ve often stated here that without Jesus Christ in my life, I could find no real meaning to my life and the events of each day. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior during my college days and because of Christ, I understand deeply that I am a blessed man, come what may, because He has given me life everlasting and also brought meaning to this earthly journey. You hear me talk of Christ often because what God offers, in Christ, is the best news I know of on the planet.

Because of faith in Christ, I know God as my everlasting Father now, a Father who will be there for me for all eternity. That’s an awesome thought!

I pray this knowledge of my loving heavenly Father has helped me be a good earthly father to my two daughters. This past Sunday was Father’s Day. My dad is not with me anymore and I know many of you understand life without a parent. I surely empathize with you. Yet we all have an earthly father and I can’t imagine a more important and wonderful role in life than being a loving father figure to someone else.

This past Father’s Day was a very special one for me and I hope it provided great memories for you dads who may be reading. One of God’s greatest blessings is family. I was overwhelmed with thanksgiving as I enjoyed my wonderful family.

I just wanted to pause today and use the privilege of writing this post to acknowledge what a blessed man I am. Your support in reading my simple attempts at writing down thoughts about investing and life is indeed another joyous blessing in my life and I pray God will bless each of you. Thanks.

I’ll share a picture below from Sunday. My son-in-law, David, is holding his daughter (and my granddaughter:-) Sadie, and I’m holding Sadie’s brother, Aiden.
