Happy Easter, friends! The resurrection of Jesus, the Messiah — what a glorious thought! Jesus conquered sin, death and the grave and His resurrection proves it. Yes, what a glorious time it is to remember the greatest event, bar none.

Let me share an exchange between Martha and the Lord Jesus from the gospel of John, chapter 11 vs. 25-27

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” (NIV, Bible)

This Sunday, we celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ. He gave His perfect life a ransom for all our sin and defeated our enemy, namely death and the grave, when He arose. He lives and will come again, the Scripture tells us. Jesus’s words to Martha still speak today to each of us — Jesus asks, Do you believe this?

May God bless you and your family.

See you next time.
